DECODE develops an IoT, edge computing, and cloud-based software platform for data-driven best-practice identification in the manufacturing and process industry. The project aims to support automatic collection and analysis of energy consumption and production data in order to identify operational practices that reduce energy use and CO2 emissions while maintaining product quality and process throughput. The project is directly relevant to JP EEIP because it focuses on energy-efficient operation of industrial processes through digitalization and data-driven decision support.
