On Friday 14 June in Brussels, EERA’s Joint Programme on Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes (JP EEIP) launched its whitepaper on ‘‘The Role and Impact of Energy Efficiency in Decarbonising European Industry.’’ 

 The JP EEIP paper explores the essential role of energy efficiency in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The whitepaper presentation was also followed by an insightful panel debate on the importance of energy efficiency as a measure for decarbonising the European industry.
