Net-Zero Lab at Sofia University, with the support of Aurubis Bulgaria, is hosting a three‑day training programme designed for young professionals interested in the future of clean industry and energy technologies. The programme combines an industrial site visit, expert-led discussions on EU policies and regulation, and in‑depth sessions on cutting‑edge decarbonisation solutions. Participants will explore topics such as the EU ETS and CBAM, industrial energy efficiency, electrification of heat, CCUS, green hydrogen, and pathways for reducing the carbon footprint in energy‑intensive sectors. The academy brings together leading academics, industry representatives, and policymakers to provide practical insights into Europe’s industrial transformation.
